The Living Room
Having walked for more than an hour through a dense forest on the outskirts of the city, you finally come upon a wooden house resting firmly in a clearing in-between the trees. You had followed a map you found online, in search of the mysterious band known as The X-Structure. You now stood in front of a large wooden cabin. The forest is peaceful around you, birds going happily about. You near the house and give a sturdy knock on door. The door creaks open and you are welcomed by an old man with a thick flowing beard. After explaining your reason for being there he beckons you in with a smile and you take a seat next to him near a crackling fireplace.
A full review of The X-Structure by Free Albums Galore
15.06.2009
We were delighted to hear that Free Albums Galore did a full review of The X-Structure and all our albums albums.
It is a sort of mixed review but all in all it's all good. We accept and understand that there will always be people who like certain songs more than others and even dislike songs completely. This is the way it is and as long as you have a favourite track then we're happy to have made it.
Here is an excerpt from the review and one that we're proud of.
"The X-Structure is a four man electronic project based in South Africa. Various definitions of their music come to mind: Down-Tempo, Trip-hop, Chilled-Out, Breakbeat, all having a certain accuracy. Yet this ensemble does what the best of its kind does well and that is creating an atmospheric gestalt that allows you to bypass the artificial boundaries and just dig the sounds. The X-Structure has four albums, all under creative commons license, that should please the connoisseur of trippy music."

Earth Epic out now!
09.03.2009
Finally, after months of deliberation and other big words, The X-Structure's latest album, Earth Epic, is out.
The album tells of the epicness of this planet we live on and touches on a few of the many facets that form part of this crazy little thing called Life. The two tracks, The Promised Land and Southern Cross, gives homage and honours the ideals and words of Martin Luther King Jr. which was there to encourage and give hope to a people in need. These same messages of hope are still there for us all and it is for us to hear and heed its call. In the end the album is an expression of gratitude and utmost thanks to God, who graciously provides us with the adventure and the means to adventure on this amazing planet which we call planet Earth.
You can download it from the music page or from the Internet Archive or you can listen to it online at Last.fm.
Enjoy and spread the word, spread the music, spread the love!
